- Using ceiling fans
- Extended eaves
- Extra thick glazing on your windows
- Managing air conditioning use (dont set and forget at 18 degrees!)
- Researching the type of air conditioner most suitable for your home (some homes, like the Tranquility, dont require massive systems to stay cool)
- Opening up your home at night to allow cooler air to circulate
- Insulate your ceiling
- Seal up small gaps to prevent hot air leakage
- Cook outside (on the Barbie!)
- Cool down the kids (pool or sprinkler)
